Pens Mightier?

I know...I know. Here I go talking about the Penguins again. Trust me. I'm not on their payroll (though maybe I should be). I'm also a lifelong Red Wings' fan. But, how can you live in Central/Western PA, have a pulse, call yourself a sports fan, and NOT be interested in this team? Young talent (Crosby, Malkin, Staal, Fleury, Whitney, Christensen, Armstrong), veteran influences (Recchi, Gonchar), role players (Ruutu, Petrovicky), and a no-nonsense coach who seems to have "cred" in the dressing room. The team hasn't lost a game in regulation in three weeks and has moved up five spots in the Eastern Conference standings. Now, it doesn't seem to be a matter of if the team will make the playoffs, but how far it will go. I'm thinking EC Finals. Crazy? Maybe. But remember, Edmonton made it to the Stanley Cup Finals as an 8th seed last season.
